Happy Cows Live at DeMar Farms!

Welcome to DeMar Farms

Current News & Events

Thanks to Ed and Cathy Brandstetter for their purchase of 3 open, replacement heifers. Their commercial herd consists of Limousin females bred to Angus bulls. They have virtually eliminated calving problems, and their offspring still bring top dollar at the market.

With the price of cattle at an all-time high, many discerning commercial producers are upgrading their herd with purchases of both new bulls and new cows.  The objective is to produce more weight gain per day in their calves.

Thank you to Gene Cornwell for his purchase of 3 females.  Gene is a local commercial cattleman who knows what a good cow looks like.

Thank you to Melissa Lloyd for her purchase of a young bull for her heifer herd. This young sire is now domiciled in the Houston area.

M.J. Zapata is now retired from the show circuit and is enjoying the freedom of the open pasture and his own harem.

Auto Audatious 523A remains in the show barn awaiting his next show in Amarillo.

We now have semen available on M.J. Zapata on the farm along with semen for Xtravaganza and Nasdaq.

Home of the two time purebred Gold Medal Winner MJ Xtravaganza, the 2005 National Western Grand Champion, Carrousels Nasdaq, MJ Zapata (2013 San Antonio Rs. Champion Bull) and the 2010 Texas Show Bull of the Year, DMAR Up and Coming!
